For students enrolled in Louisiana Tech University’s College of Engineering and Science (COES) graduate programs, Rifat-E-Nur Hossain is a familiar name.
It was a nail biter in Hoss Garret Stadium for the Ruston High Bearcats football team as they defeated the reigning 4A State Champion Carencro Bears with a last second Brady Season field goal that sealed the victory 38-35.
Wista Franklin Duke inherited a patch of land from her parents, Alfred and Lucille Franklin. From there, the little patch went to her older child, Louella Duke Howard who then passed it on to her daughter, Renae Howard Dickerson.

At the age of 43, Wesley Miller is a busy fellow. He lives along Dorcheat Bayou between Doyline and Sibley in Webster Parish. As a professional, Miller is a registered nurse who happens to be a serious outdoorsman and has made his name in at least two ways.
