Library to close two hours early Monday through Thursday for summer

The Lincoln Parish Library will be temporarily shortening its hours of operation during the weekdays this summer.

Thanks to the vision of Kadee and Karlee Malone, Ruston now has a new mural underway. Kadee, owner of Legends Cigar and Vape Lounge, and her sister Karlee originated the idea for a mural to grace the east side of the Legends building on E. Kentucky Avenue. With the vision of an empowerment piece for women from a myriad of backgrounds, the Malone sisters tapped local artist Ashley Greer of Art by Ash to then bring that vision to life.
