JONESBORO — The Jackson Parish Library is holding a summer reading program called “Sea The Possibilities” for kids on Tuesdays and Thursdays in July from 10-11 a.m. and 2-3 p.m. through the end of the month.
Spaces are still available for the final two middle school Science Summer Camps hosted by Chris Campbell in Louisiana Tech University’s College of Education. The camps are scheduled for July 11-15 (All About Plastic, Composites and Metals) and July 25-29 (Sound and Electronics) and will take place in Woodard Hall 135 from 8 a.m. to noon.
Quota of Ruston sponsored the Ruston Peach Parade in June. Origin Bank captured the Peach Parade’s float that best represented the theme “Throwback to our Roots.” Quota issued a warm message of gratitude for the city of Ruston, all of the participants, and the parade goers for making the return of the Peach Parade successful.
