The Lincoln Parish Retired Teachers Association welcomed Tim Sherman, retired Marine pilot, and a program featuring his military art. The group’s November meetings always feature a patriotic theme in honor of Veterans Day, and attendees enjoyed the story of Sherman’s military journey as well as his incredible works of art. The LPRTA group will celebrate the holidays with its annual Christmas program on Dec. 4 in the Community Room of the Lincoln Parish Library.
