The Lincoln Parish Museum will be hosting a gathering in honor of VFW Post 3615 Sunday titled, “Mission Accomplished— An Icing on the Cake Celebration.”
Gov. Jeff Landry vetoed legislation that would have made it easier for him and future governors to pardon people for minor marijuana possession convictions. He said the proposal reflected a “soft-oncrime” attitude and alleged it violated the state constitution.
