Lincoln Parish residents who want to vote in the Oct. 14 primary election and are not now registered have until Sept. 13 to do so in person at the registrar of voters office, by mail or at the local Office of Motor Vehicles.
Alysia Lewis Bradford, a Ruston native, Ruston High graduate and Grambling State University alumna, recently published an illustrated poem in book form, titled, “Grandma’s House on Memory Lane: A Tribute to Grandmothers Everywhere!”
Much like the 2022 season opener against Warren Easton, which Ruston lost in overtime, last week’s 20-19 defeat to the Eagles didn’t drop the Cats too far down in the Class 5A prep poll, released Monday by the Louisiana Sports Writers Association.
The Ruston High cross country program began its season with strong debuts at The Opener meet, hosted by Mississippi College in Clinton, Mississippi, on Saturday.
