Funeral services for Mr. Allen Wayne Elledge, age 71, of Ruston,will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, September 2, 2023, at Owens Memorial Chapel in Ruston with Mr. Ronnie Dyes officiating.
Legendary NBA star and long- time political champion Bill Bradley will be on hand today in New Jersey to help Grambling State kick off a $1 million scholarship in memory of Grambling State and fellow NBA legend Willis Reed.
The Dixie Center for the Arts will be presenting “Black Angels over Tuskegee” by playwright, actor and Louisiana native Layon Gray in January, it was announced this week in Ruston.
Ruston’s own, Christiane Drieling, has an exhibit on display at the Masur Museum of Art. The exhibit, titled “Earth,” will be on view in the Upper River Gallery of the Masur Museum at 1400 South Grand Street in Monroe.
