This weekend we celebrate National Eat Your Vegetables Day. And with the bounty of fresh produce coming in, it’s time to look at some recipes that showcase garden treasures everywhere. So plan a trip to the Ruston Farmers Market tomorrow and enjoy these tempting delicacies.

Recently I’ve had several opportunities to get an up-close look at various programs and offerings in public education here in Lincoln Parish. Here’s the short version: Kids are up to some pretty neat stuff here in our backyard.
