The Ruston Fire Department’s getting ready to roll out its new fire prevention bureau, pending action by the city’s Board of Aldermen and final approval from the Louisiana State Fire Marshal’s Office.

The city of Ruston has announced, weather permitting, Cedar Creek Dr. between Post Oak Dr. and Hodges Road will be closed to through traffic Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The closure is necessary for a drainage culvert change out.
