May promises to be another art-filled month. One highlight is the Dubach School Art Show and Silent Auction, coordinated by Lauren Dixon, 2020 state art educator. Louisiana Tech University’s Kappa Delta Sorority recently hosted a “Spring Into Confidence” event for local Girl Scouts. During the experience, KD sisters worked with the scouts to paint canvases, play games and dance, all with the theme of developing confidence. The group capped off the day by exercising their selfassurance while planting flowers on the campus of A.E. Phillips Laboratory School.
