Following is the second part of my account of the visits DART staff members have had with legislators in the seven parishes we serve, arranged in response to a recent 50% cut in one of our largest federal grants. This cut amounts to an $80,000 loss for DART. One request we have is to include domestic violence programs in our state budget, since there is currently no state funding for domestic violence services in Louisiana.
