Members of Louisiana Tech University’s Kappa Delta Sorority hosted area Girl Scouts at the lodge to help celebrate International Day of the Girl on Oct. 11. The goal is to raise girls’ aspirations by connecting them with female role models who can introduce them to the full variety of careers and options in life while inspiring them to aim high. The girls enjoyed a variety of activities, snacks and an environment that encouraged them to believe they can do whatever they want to do.
