A Ruston man whom police found sitting on a couch eating while another man lay on the floor bleeding from the back of the head, and a half-clothed Castor woman discovered slumped on the steps of a residence were arrested in separate incidents Tuesday by local law enforcement agencies.
A closed-casket memorial service will be held for Rufus Washington, Jr., at 2 pm, Monday, October 7, 2024, at King’s Funeral Home, in Ruston. Visitation will be held at 12-2 p.m., closed-casket, prior to the service.
