During its regular session this spring the Louisiana Legislature passed House Bill 684 by Rep. Neil Riser (RColumbia), to advance LDWF’s ability to fund the management, conservation, restoration, and enhancement of the Louisiana black bear.
Dorothy Dean Vining Clark was a wife, mother, grandmother, great- grandmother, and sister who died peacefully at the age of 90 at home in Ruston, with family around her after a lengthy illness.
Funeral services for Rodney Adrion Fuqua, 86 of Ruston, will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 28, 2024, at Temple Baptist Church of Ruston in the Chapel under the direction of Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Homes. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Ruston. Dr. Reggie Bridges will officiate the services.
James Lee Frazier, 92, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away on June 17, 2024, at the age of 92. A lifelong resident of Ruston, James was born on March 26, 1932.
