A Celebration of Life for Connie A. Watts, 76, of Ruston, was held at 10 a. m. Saturday, November 2, 2024, at the Kilpatrick Funeral Home Chapel in Ruston. Officiating the service was Rev. Connor Evans.

This weekend MedCamps of Louisiana held its Heroes with Hearts Retreat, a partnership with Louisiana Tech University’s Division of Nursing that pairs MedCamps campers with chronic illnesses or disabilities with Tech nursing students. Campers have a fun and safe weekend at camp while students get hands-on experience with pediatric care in a community setting.
