Jerry Drewett and his late wife, Margie, knew they were building their home in Ruston’s Toma Lodge Subdivision on the historic Louisiana Chautauqua grounds.
It seems a recent outbreak of the flu some 30 miles east of Ruston did not affect Lincoln Parish students in their last week of school before Thanksgiving break.
