Members of Louisiana Tech University’s Kappa Alpha fraternity were on site at the Heard Freighthouse Food Park for two days with a commitment to ride a giant teeter-totter for 36 hours. The event was set to raise money for The Independence Fund which provides all-terrain track chairs for severely wounded veterans. The group’s ultimate goal is to empower our nation’s catastrophically wounded, injured, or ill veterans to overcome physical, mental and emotional wounds incurred in the line of duty.
