Bobby Williams recognizes the community has given so much to him throughout his life. In fact, it’s helped propel him to the highest levels of success. That’s one reason he’s so motivated to give back.
Lynda Lewis of Ruston dropped by the Ruston Daily Leader office Monday to donate supplies to victims of a tornado in Farmerville. Lewis said she was led to donate because, “it is more important to give rather than receive.” She added that Jesus is the reason for the season.
The first Noel the angel did say was to certain poor shepherds in fields as they lay; in fields where they lay keeping their sheep, on a cold winter’s night that was so deep.

It was standing room only in Parnell- Burt Post 3615 as the local Veterans of Foreign War, Ruston’s VFW, handed out its Fall 2022 awards to winners in the youth scholarship categories as well as community leadership.
