RCT’s ‘Cinderella’ opens tonight at Dixie Center

Beginning tonight, residents have the opportunity to see the “ Cinderella” story on stage at the Dixie Center for the Arts at 7 p.m., with performances Friday and Saturday nights and at a 2 p.m. show on Sunday Ruston Community Theatre will present the Rodgers and Hammerstein’s version of the Broadway musical for the 2023 Gale and Lucy Chumley Musical Series, sponsored by Audrey Chumley Sullivan in honor of her parents who were involved in the Ruston community for many years.

Search warrant yields six arrests for narcotics

Six people were arrested on a variety of narcotics charges Tuesday after the Lincoln Parish Special Response Team, along with the Ruston city police SWAT unit, executed a knock-andannounce search warrant on a residence on Virgil Road in Dubach.
