Tau Kappa Epsilon’s (TKE) Beta-Zeta Chapter at Louisiana Tech University has reached another milestone in its storied history. The fraternity, founded at Louisiana Tech in 1947, has officially acquired a new chapter house at 2604 West Barnett Springs Avenue, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter for its members and alumni.
NEW ORLEANS — Amid the elegant atmosphere in the grand ballroom of the Hilton New Orleans Riverside, the 2024 Kicks Ball Gala presented by adidas unfolded as a night to remember. Held during Bayou Classic Weekend by the Grambling University Foundation, the blacktie event experienced a near 40% increase in attendance. The most notable achievement: The GAP Scholarship Fund surpassed $1 million in funds raised since its inception, and it happened in mere minutes.

Funeral services for Patrick “ Pat” Lloyd Cone, 70, of Choudrant, will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at Temple Baptist Church Chapel.
