Young added to Bobby Bragan Award Watch List

Tech’s Taylor Young was placed on the Bobby Bragan Collegiate Slugger Award Watch List, the Bobby Bragan Youth Foundation announced on Tuesday. The award is given to the nation’s best hitter, and special consideration is also given to academics and personal integrity. The West Monroe native has a career batting average of .306 and an onbase percentage of .454. He has accumulated 85 career walks and will reach the top 10 in school history with only two more in 2020. Needless to say, our country is in a real dilemma. The Democrats and Republicans don’t even speak to each other, and when they do the dialogue is venomous and full of negativity. It’s amazing that the Congress of the United States is able to pass any laws, much less move a mighty nation forward. It is the resilience of the population that is ensuring that America remains the greatest nation in the history of the world.
