This month marks the 21st annual National Stalking Awareness Month. It is a call to action. We are being called to recognize and respond to behavior that is a crime under the laws of all 50 states, the District of Columbia, U.S. territories, and federal government.

A.E. Phillips School journalism class toured the Ruston Daily Leader Thursday and learned what it takes to be a back-to-back Newspaper of the Year award winning publication. It opens the eyes to young students on what it takes to put together an award winning publication as well as ideas on the roles they can play in journalism/ graphics as they matriculate into college.
