The far future is something I rarely contemplate, especially in terms of my career. There is so much to keep us busy right now. When I first took my job with Lincoln Parish Library in June of 2002, I was a bright-eyed and eager, young librarian who was excited to help LPL expand in services and materials in a newly renovated and enlarged West Alabama Avenue location. Needless to say, things got even more exciting when the Library ended up at the North Trenton Street location with even more new services, materials, and space to share.
