DRAFT WATER DISCHARGE PERMIT
The LDEQ, Office of Environmental Services, is accepting written comments on a draft Louisiana Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (LPDES) permit prepared for Ardagh Glass, Inc., Ruston Facility, 10194 Crosspoint Blvd., Suite 410, Indianapolis, IN 46256. The facility is located at 4241 Highway 563 in Simsboro, Lincoln Parish. Upon the effective date of the final permit, the LPDES permit shall replace the previously issued LPDES permit.

Compton, Hilton wed at First Baptist Church

Emily Compton, of Ruston, and Braden Thomas Hilton, of Ruston, were united in holy matrimony at 4 p.m. May 5 at First Baptist Church in Ruston.

The double ring ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Josh Sanderson.

The bride is the daughter of Linnea Allen, of Ruston, and John Compton, of Shreveport. She is the granddaughter of William Compton, of Shreveport, and the late Patsy Compton; and Karen McDonald, of Shreveport, and Rick Fayard, of Bossier City.
