But the crown of God’s creation was when He made man and woman. In Genesis 1:27, we read that “God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.” We were created in God’s image, reflecting the Trinity in our being — body, mind, soul. Sunday Movie Review: “Ant-Man”

in
Garver, Robert.jpg

“Ant-Man” is the second movie this summer for the Marvel Cinematic Universe (which at this point pretty much means the world of The Avengers), and it serves pretty much the same purpose as last summer’s second MCU movie “Guardians of the Galaxy.” Each year brought us two MCU movies: the first with one or more of The Avengers, the second with someone new, but still connected to “The Avengers.” Marvel wants us to know that they’re not limited to The Avengers, they’re just not going anywhere.

Local Boy Scouts are continuously serving the community year-round, said Scout Master Clint Williams. There are six scout groups in Ruston.
Williams said he is the scout master of Troop 45 in Ruston.
“Twice per year on Memorial Day and Veteran’s Day, our group will go put American flags on the gravesites of American veterans,” he said. “And in preparation for Flag Day during the summer, we’ll go to the VFW and disassemble the flags for disposal. The scouts then assist in the flag burning ceremony on the Saturday before Flag Day.”
