NCLAC is so pleased we are able to serve visual artists by presenting art exhibitions in two spaces in Lincoln Parish.
Through a partnership with Parish Press, Ruston’s locally-owned coffee shop located at 1007 N. Trenton St., we display six-week exhibitions. Since the shop’s opening in August 2014, we’ve exhibited paintings by Maggie Jones Boudreaux, and photography by Whitney Caskey and Shawn Hood.

Education ahead in 2015

While most people resolve to lose weight, eat healthier or to quit a bad habit in the new year, there are a few who will venture into bettering their education.
And with two universities and a community college right here in Lincoln Parish, residents have an advantage.
Both Grambling State University and Delta Community College are on the semester system and will begin classes this month. If interested in applying to attend, visit their websites at www.gram.edu and www.ladelta.edu.

Darden, Jessica 2014.jpg

I have never been much of a TV watcher. I was always been more of a reader.
