UPDATE: Grambling State issued an all-clear and lifted the shelter-in-place order on campus around 12:30 p.m.

Previous story:

Law enforcement continue to sweep the Grambling State University Nursing Building after a bomb threat was made there Thursday morning.

After initial sweeps, authorities have found no bomb or suspect, but further "inch by inch" searches are still being carried out.

Students have been advised to shelter in place until the situation is resolved. All classes have been moved to virtual platforms.

The threat was initially reported to the Lincoln Parish Sheriff's Office some time after 8 a.m. Thursday, officials say.

Grambling State Police evacuated the nearby Jacob T. Stewart Hall, Conrad Hutchinson Performing Arts Center and Charles P. Adams Hall.

University police, Grambling city police, Louisiana State Police and sheriff's office deputies responded to the Nursing Building to investigate the threat.

This is a developing story. More information will be shared as it becomes available.
