We had spent eleven months planning this trip with our best friends to this magical place. The water was beautiful and the wildlife unique - both land and seaborne. It really was an incredible experience.

Cook Baptist Church, located on the Cooktown Road, was organized in 1920, with Rev. H.M. Michael as its first pastor. St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church was dedicated on Dec. 14, 1941. Emmanuel Baptist Church, on the Farmerville Road, was begun under the auspices of the First Baptist Church and was formally organized on Sept. 17, 1950.

RCT holding auditions for ‘Anne of Green Gables’

Ruston Community Theatre has announced audition dates for its next production. Auditions for “ Anne of Green Gables,” open to teens and adults, will be held Saturday, at 10 a.m. and Monday, at 6 p.m.
