Jim and Jane Ball celebrate 65 years

Jim and Jane Ball, of Ruston, celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary Aug. 29. They were married Aug. 29, 1957, at Trinity United Methodist Church in Ruston. Jim had just completed Army basic training at Fort Chaffee, Arkansas. Their first home was in San Antonio where Jim was stationed at Fort Sam Houston. The Balls have two children. Their son, Bob and wife Alicia, live in Ruston, and their daughter, Meg and husband Doug Bullock, live in Wisconsin. The Balls’ 21-year-old grandchildren, Brandon and Molly, both live in Ruston.
