Atta Carpenter recently won the Louisiana Society Sons of the American Revolution Sgt. Moses Adams Memorial School Brochure Contest. She is an eighth grade home school student using the Montessori curriculum and was sponsored by the James Huey SAR Chapter in West Monroe. Her brochure entitled “Flaws in Freedom” will compete in the national society’s contest in July. Sunflower, impatiens make cut as Louisiana super plants
