‘Homecoming’ art exhibition celebrates black artists

A recent grant funded by the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) was awarded to highlight the art departments of two prominent historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs) in the south. With support from this newly announced NEA grant, the Shreveport Regional Arts Council (SRAC) is working with Grambling State University and Southern University Shreveport Louisiana (SUSLA) to facilitate an exhibition series documenting and celebrating the schools’ alumni artists.

Ex-employee shows up at kid’s day care

DEAR HARRIETTE: I am a restaurant manager. I recently had to let go of one of my servers who continuously got complaints for being rude. I had trouble with her arriving late and creating issues with other staff during work hours. It was actually a Harrie relief to have her gone.

RJHS duo shines at national FBLA conference

Whataburger to open student resource room at Grambling State University

In an effort to address students’ top welfare concerns, Grambling State University’s Student Government Association (SGA) and Graduate Student Government Association (GSGA) announced a partnership with Whataburger to open the Tiger Resource Room Powered by Whataburger in the Favrot Student Union during the 2020 fall semester.
