Not even chilly temperatures could put a damper on the Ruston Farmers Market’s first weekend of the new year. Vendors and customers alike packed the robust market to promote and enjoy the fresh produce, home-grown and home-made items and goods, and delightful fellowship that has become a hallmark of the Saturday gathering. The in-person market is located at 220 E. Mississippi Ave. in Ruston and open between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. each Saturday.
