The city of Ruston has a budget for the fiscal year that begins Oct. 1. The Board of Aldermen unanimously adopted the $77 million spending plan Monday.

FARMERVILLE — Shortly after 6 p.m. Friday, Troopers with Louisiana State Police Troop F began investigating a single-vehicle fatal crash on Hwy. 33 north of Farmerville. The crash claimed the life of 28-year-old Rodney Kesee, Jr., of Farmerville.
