A Ruston man took police on a chase after officers noticed him speeding in a school zone Wednesday morning at approximately 6:59 a.m., which ended in an arrest.

A free Hummingbirds and Your Garden workshop will be offered on March 1 at the Lincoln Parish Library in Ruston. Participants will learn how to provide food, water, nesting sites and perches to attract and keep hummingbirds coming to your garden.
The city of Ruston, weather permitting, will close S. Bonner Street between E. Colorado Avenue and E. Arizona Avenue to through traffic from 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., Tuesday. This closure is necessary to allow for tree removal.
