Christmas Wonderland in the Pines Parade

The annual Jonesboro Christmas parade was held on Nov. 27 as part of the Christmas Wonderland in the Pines festival. Several floats rolled through the city with lights abounding and residents lined up along the street. As part of the ceremonies that day, Andrea Malone (third photo) presented a special honor to parade grand marshals Dipak Patel and his wife, Gita, long-time business owners who are active in the community. Christmas Season in Downtown Ruston

Tech flight team soars to nationals after excelling at regional competition

Louisiana Tech’s Precision Flight Team, a student organization that competes in National Intercollegiate Flying Association (NIFA) events, participated in its regional event in late October and performed well enough to qualify for the national competition at Ohio State University in May 2022.
