The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Lincoln Parish has climbed once again. As of noon Friday, the parish had 17 cases, according to a daily update from the Louisiana Department of Health.
• April 3 — Lincoln Parish records 17 confirmed cases of COVID-19. Cases statewide are now at 10,297, a jump of 1,147 reported since April 2. The death toll stands at 370.
As statewide coronavirus mitigation orders continue to limit operations for local businesses, some area taxing authorities are anticipating significant decreases in sales tax revenue in the coming months.
