Memorial services for William (Bill) Goodwin Hammond will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, May 21, 2021, at Owens Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in Ruston. Visitation will be held prior to the service, starting at 9 a.m.
Phyllis Ward went to be with the Lord on May 11, 2021. She was born in Westpoint Mississippi, to Colonel Phillip Ray Goynes and Mrs. Tessie Mae Goynes. She went to Baylor University and later attended LSU to get a Master’s degree in social work.
A graveside service for Mary Hammons McCorkle, 108, of Ruston, was held on Monday, May 10, 2021, at 10 a.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Ruston under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home Ruston.
Carol Ann Haughton Lagarde passed from this life on May 7, 2020, after suffering a stroke on her birthday. She was born on April 26, 1942, in Ruston, the only child of Guy G. and Elizabeth Lyles Haughton.
Graveside services for Floy Elizabeth Conn Moon, 89, of Ruston, will be held 2 p.m. today, Wednesday, May 5, 2021, at Salem Cemetery in Dubach, under the direction of Kilpatrick Funeral Home of Ruston.
