A war over a war. Seems about right for 2020.
And it’s happening right here in Louisiana, a state that can often find ways to make a bad situation even worse.
We all knew it was going to happen.
It’s not clear whether or not it was an advance attack to set up a bigger event on Election Day, but the Louisiana National Guard was called into action last week.
Sometimes it’s all about timing.
Once again, the COVID-19 pandemic became personal for me last week.
And for many others in Lincoln Parish, too.
The fact of the matter is that it has been a stormy year for Louisiana.
When did hatefulness and division become OK? That’s a part of this “new norm” in which we’re having to live that I have a big problem with.
The final outcome is still to be determined, but the squeaky wheel apparently got the grease to finally notice.
Now Louisiana waits to see when things will finally get running smoothly.
