Art Starts Young
Leader photos by CALEB DANIEL Dubach School held its eighth annual art show and silent auction Monday evening in the school gym. Each class displayed individual works of art completed throughout the year and auctioned off group projects to the highest bidder throughout the night.

This fifth grade group bulldog painting was the hit of the silent auction, going down to the wire as time ran out. It’s a painting version of the Bonus Bulldog statue that previous Dubach students completed for the Ruston Cultural District’s Bulldog Project.
On behalf of the Dubach Restoration and Beautification Organization, Renee Vowles, left, presented Dubach art teacher Lauren Dixon with a $100 donation for the art department.
