Back to School event held in Ruston

The Humanitarian Enterprise of Lincoln Parish (HELP) Agency held a Mental Health Awareness Back to School Event at the Ruston Civic Center on June 22, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. They offered free school supplies, free uniforms, games, face painting, free food and door prizes. Tiffany Curry, Principal of Dubach School, spoke on schedules and routines, parents to visit the school when the child has an event and the importance of having age appropriate conversations. She also mentioned the importance of one-on-one time with each child and providing beneficial opportunities for the child and know your child’s love language and speak it.
