City of Grambling announces water outage

Grambling residents will be without water most of the day Monday for a planned water line repair.

The outage will run from approximately 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., after which a mandatory boil advisory will go into effect until further notice, according to a notification sent out by the city on Wednesday.

Residents should either draw up water for cooking and drinking ahead of the shutoff or use bottled water, city officials said.
