Top: A crowd of first-year students at Louisiana Tech’s Convocation Wednesday evening marched to the Lady of the Mist fountain to toss their commemorative medallions into the water, per university tradition.
Bottom: Louisiana Tech President Les Guice addresses a crowd of freshman students who gathered on the new green space in Centennial Plaza on campus Wednesday evening to kick off the fall quarter with First-Year Student Convocation. The event was held outside rather than the traditional venue of Howard Auditorium due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
