Girl Scout Cookie success

It’s the time of the year to enjoy delicious cookies and once again the Ruston-Lincoln Chamber of Commerce stepped up to help support this group of burgeoning entrepreneurs. Girl Scout Troop 11 was invited to set up a booth inside the facility shared between the Chamber and Experience Ruston Convention and Visitors Bureau to promote the 2024 cookie sales. There the girls heard from Chamber President and CEO Will Dearmon (left) as he encouraged their leadership and business skills. In Lincoln Parish, 1,567 cases of cookies were sold totaling 18,804 boxes, all contributing to the support of local Girl Scouts and their programming.
