Roughly 160 students at the Paul E. Slaton Head Start Center in Ruston paraded around the school parking lot Friday morning, to the delight of families and the community, while promoting Head Start and breast cancer awareness. Top, a fleet of tricycle peddlers head up the procession. Above, students enthusiastically performed lyrics like “I’ve got a Head Start feeling down in my heart.”
