JONESBORO — A public hearing regarding nuisance growths and the definition thereof will be held by the Town of Jonesboro at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the Jonesboro City Hall, located at 128 Allen Ave. Immediately following the public hearing, the Jonesboro Board of Aldermen will hold its regularly scheduled monthly meeting.
Discussion of the public hearing will be centered on the amending of section #20-55 of the town’s ordinance code. Through ordinance #2021-010, language would be added defining noxious weeds, grass and/or other deleterious and unhealthful growths, provisions made for matters related thereto and providing for an effective date of the amendment.
