Local literature on display

Authors from around the local area and state gathered at the Lincoln Parish Library Saturday for the Second Annual Lincoln Literarium, where visitors had the opportunity to learn about these local writers, get their books signed and listen to live readings.

Right photo, Hector Vargas (left) wrote a collection of 100 children’s bedtime stories after learning that he and Ashley Mitchell (right) were going to have a child. The book is named after their son Gabriel.
