About 50 students from University of Louisiana System sister school Nicholls State University in Thibodaux evacuated to Louisiana Tech campus over the weekend ahead of Hurricane Ida’s arrival. The students were housed in the Lambright Sports and Wellness Center and fed by Aramark.
