Parish schools honored as Comeback Campuses
Parish schools honored as Comeback Campuses State education officials were in town Friday to celebrate four Lincoln Parish schools that were named Comeback Campuses by the Louisiana Department of Education. Comeback Campuses are those that increased the percentage of students scoring at Mastery level or above on their spring LEAP tests and decreasing the percentage of students scoring Unsatisfactory. Choudrant High School, Cypress Springs Elementary, Dubach Elementary School and I.A. Lewis School earned this honor for the 2021-22 school year. State Superintendent Cade Brumley and District 5 Board of Elementary and Secondary Education member Ashley Ellis visited the four schools to learn more about the strategies their teams implemented to achieve such improvement.
