Retired Teachers host LeCour at recent meeting

The Lincoln Parish Retired Teachers Association held its monthly meeting on March 2 in the Community Room of the Lincoln Parish Library. Following a St. Patrick’s themed fellowship complete with goodies supplied by the members, an extended, informative presentation was given by Teachers Retirement System of Louisiana Director Jeff LeCour.

At top, LPRTA members listen intently to the updates LeCour had to share related to the upcoming Louisiana Legislative session and proposed changes of importance to retirees. The next meeting for the education group is scheduled for April 6 and will feature Main Street Director Amy Stegall, who will present “What’s New in Ruston.”
