Road work for QuikTrip continues

Originally expected to last two weeks, the closure of the Vienna Street entrance to the Lincoln Parish Library is nearing seven weeks as work continues to shift southward the section of Pine Avenue that cuts through the north end of the library’s parking lot. This is the first step in the construction plan for a new QuikTrip gas station and convenience store. Part of the delay has reportedly been the arrival of the right kind of dirt for the project, which is now on site.
